Thad Waterman – Shop Manager / Co-Owner
Since 1998, Thad has worked full time for Waterman’s Forage / Chopper Box Repair & Sales. However, he has helped in the family business for many years before that. He spends most of his time handling bids, ordering parts, customer service, and managing the repair team.
Bill Waterman – Transport & Bidding / Co-Founder
At the beginning of the business, it was just Bill and Sheri working side by side. While Bill’s role has changed at different points most clients still deal with him at some point. In other words, he is involved in customer service, bidding, recovery, and transport. Bill’s experience and knowledge have always been critical. Critically, he works with the farmer and insurance adjuster and works to find a solution that will satisfy everyone for insurance claims.
Sheri Waterman – Retired / Co-Founder
All the way back to 1965 Sheri has been a constant for the business. At the start and until the last 10 years she was doing the physical work. Then at night on the weekend, she would handle all the financial matters and other paperwork. At this point, she is retired. However, from time to time she will answer the phone and handle something as needed.
Ole Seim – Team Member
Ole is one of the two team members who do most all the work on the machinery. He works with Chris to disassemble, repair, and rebuild chopper boxes. Additionally, Ole does a little it of everything including time straightening and painting parts. Lastly, he is one of our drivers for when two transport vehicles on a recovery job.
Christopher Russell – Team Member
Chris is one of the two team members who do most all the work on the machinery. He works with Ole to disassemble, repair, and rebuild chopper boxes. Additionally, Chris does a little it of everything including time straightening and painting parts. Chris also assists with shop manager items when Thad is not available. Lastly, at times he will go out with Bill on recovery jobs.
Becky Waterman – Office Manager
Becky’s role is to handle office manager duties and is onsite one day per week. Becky maintains office services by organizing office operations, answering phones, preparing payroll, tracking budget, and income expenses. Additionally, she ensures all items are invoiced and paid on time. Lastly, she assists with marketing and items like Facebook and the website inventory updates, as well as anything else that is needed.
Brock Waterman – President / Co-Owner
Since 2018, Brock has been the President of Waterman’s Forage / Chopper Box Repair & Sales. His roles include handling all business issues, systems, and processes. He works with items including legal and regulatory strategy, HR policies coordinator, marketing, information technology, and is the head of the business transition to the second generation.
