THAD WATERMAN – Shop Manager / Co-Owner
Thad started working full time for Waterman’s Forage / Chopper Box Repair & Sales (A division of Lumber Land LLC) since 1998 although he has helped in the family business for many years before that. As the shop manager, he spends most of his time repairing the chopper boxes / forage boxes along with sales, customer service and parts ordering.
BILL WATERMAN – Transport & Bidding / Co-Founder
Bill spends the majority of his time out looking at chopper boxes / forage boxes that have been wrecked. He meets with the farmer and insurance adjuster at the site and they try to find a solution that will satisfy everyone.
SHERI WATERMAN – Office / Co-Founder
Sheri has historically been the administrative contact for Waterman’s Forage / Chopper Box Repair & Sales and for many years she worked alongside Bill on the boxes. Now she is in the process of retiring and is transitioning this over to Trina Yonker, see below.
Ole typically works to disassemble, repair, and rebuild chopper boxes.. But he also does a little it of everything including work on boxes, but spends a lot of time straightening and painting parts.
Christopher typically works to disassemble, repair, and rebuild chopper boxes.
Trina Yonker – Office Manager
Trina maintains office services by organizing office operations, answering phones, preparing payroll, tracking budget and income expenses, and ensuring all items are invoiced and paid on time.
Becky holds two bachelor degrees from the University of Wisconsin – Platteville which include both Business Administration / Animal Science with a dairy emphasis. Becky’s role has traditionally been to assist Sheri Waterman with the office tasks one day per week. She is now transitioning many of these responsibilities over to Trina and will now be more focused on assisting Brock with marketing and other research in an as needed basis.
BROCK WATERMAN – President / Co-Owner
Brock is a business administration graduate from the University of Wisconsin – Platteville and holds two computer systems degrees from Southwest Wisconsin Technical College in Fennimore, WI. As of 2018 Brock is now the President of Waterman’s Forage / Chopper Box Repair & Sales. His roles is to handle all business issues and to expand the business. He works with items including legal and regulatory strategy, HR policies coordinator, marketing, information technology, and is the head of the business transition to the second generation.
